J.S. Bach’s dances, such as the Minuet, Sarabande, Bourée, etc. vividly brought to life with historical steps. With music from Bach’s Partitas and Suites for solo instruments played by Cynthia Roberts, violin, and Allen Whear, cello.

Music played an essential role in Austen’s life, as it did in the lives of her literary heroines. Songs and chamber music from the great author’s personal collection, as heard in the salons of Regency England.
